After spending all Saturday on the Borth beach contemplating getting my kites drenched and what kite I should use, I instead retired to the van and watched an entertaining game of rugby.

Sunday saw the massif take the trip to the 'other side'.

As soon as we arrived the heavens opened then wind dropped, but undeterred the massif ventured the long trudge across the dune and took to the water.

I had a top session cruising around managing to hold on in the gusts, the flat water made all the difference. During one squal everyone apart from those with sonics had to get off the water and kites down sharpish, must admit i was impressed to see how those kites handled such nasty conditions.

Like all the massif had a top session left with a smile from ear to ear, we must visit the 'other side' more often.
